The USC Trauma and Fracture Care Center at Keck Medicine of USC in Los Angeles offers specialized treatment for orthopaedic trauma and fracture care. Our fracture and trauma specialists have special expertise in treating challenging fractures throughout the body as well as treating non-unions (fractures that do not heal), mal-unions (fractures that heal out of proper alignment) and in deformity correction.
Conditions we commonly treat include fracture of the pelvis, acetabulum, upper extremity (shoulder, including scapula and glenoid, elbow, wrist, hand and arm), lower extremity (femur, distal femur, knee, tibial plateau, foot, ankle and heel bone) and spine. We also treat dislocations of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and ankle.
We have significant expertise in the treatment of limb-threatening fractures, the reconstruction of bony defects and the percutaneous treatment of pelvic fractures. We collaborate with the highly skilled microvascular surgeons at Keck Medicine of USC for unique reconstruction and bone defect reconstruction of the legs and arms. As a patient, you will benefit from the extensive experience our physicians have gained in treating very complex traumatic injuries at the Keck Medicine of USC-affiliated LAC+USC Medical Center, a pioneering center in orthopaedic trauma care.
We treat our patients like family, delivering personalized, appropriate care with compassion. We differentiate ourselves by providing standard principles of fracture care coupled with leading-edge technology and minimally invasive techniques. We also demonstrate a willingness and ability to take on extraordinarily challenging fractures and injuries.
We emphasize taking the time to thoroughly treat every patient with a primary goal of returning you back to normal function. By working to ensure that your joints or bones last you a long time, we help minimize the risk of future surgery and disability. Our surgeons also coordinate your rehabilitative care with physical therapists while outlining the unique aspects of your condition in order to customize a plan specifically for you.
